Amanda, originally from northwest Indiana, has called Asheville home for the past seven years. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology, and alongside her dog grooming journey, she pursued certification in positive reinforcement dog training. Her beloved soul dog, Copper, accompanied her throughout these experiences. Although losing Copper last April was devastating, he imparted invaluable lessons about life and love.

As a dedicated yogi, Amanda lives by the yogic principle of "ahimsa," emphasizing compassion and non-violence towards all living creatures, both physically and psychologically. Her commitment to kindness extends to being a devoted vegan. Her life philosophy revolves around kindness, truth, positive energy, and gratitude.

Amanda treasures her three dogs, Banana (an 11-month-old bloodhound), Prana (pictured, a standard poodle), and Pumpkin (a coonhound mix), considering them the center of her world. During her free time, she immerses herself in hiking, camping, and outdoor activities with her canine companions. Additionally, Amanda finds great joy in painting and exploring various forms of art.
